Forestry works
There are tree felling works being carried out in the wider An Lèanachan forest. Please follow all safety signage and expect to meet timber lorries and other forestry related traffic on the forest roads.

Forestry works
From mid-April 2026, we'll be restocking (planting) here.
This will require the weekday closure of short sections of the mountain bike trails Blue Doon/Steel and Lazy K/Witches Trail. The informal trail known as Stolen Bridge will be closed weekdays. A diversion will be in place.
We anticipate the work will continue for two to four weeks dependent on weather. Please follow all safety instructions.

There is open water at this site. Watch children closely, wear a life jacket if you go in the water, and do not drink alcohol near or in water.
