Horses welcome

Many of our forest roads and trails are ideal for horse riding. There’s plenty of room for horse boxes at many of our car parks.

Our car parks have designated parking areas for horse boxes at forests such as:

• Bennachie
• Loch Ard
• Culbin

Keep an eye out for this symbol. This marks which forests are suitable for horses.

Find a forest

If your horse drops while you are in the car park, please tidy up and take the dung home with you. 

If you notice horse dung once you’re out on a trail, we ask that you please dismount and kick it to the side.
