The following notices are in effect at this location.

  1. Forest operations update

    We have stopped harvesting operations at Loch Coille Bharr. Some of the remaining standing tree remain prone to wind blow so please avoid this trail after severe weather events. We may have to close the route to remove fallen trees at short notice. 

  2. Forestry works

    We have harvesting operations close to Loch Coille-Bharr Trail near Kilmory Oib. Please follow all signs and instructions from onsite staff. Please keep away from machines and log stacks.

Ticks can carry Lyme disease, which can lead to long-term illness. Check for ticks after your visit and remove them quickly.

Open water

There is open water at this site. Watch children closely, wear a life jacket if you go in the water, and do not drink alcohol near or in water.

Forestry works

You may find tree felling, road building and timber lorries here. Keep safe and don't enter closed areas. Always follow signs and instructions.
