Clachan Trail
Climb steadily through varied forest to discover a 300-year old farming settlement and some superb views across the Tummel Valley.
The trail leads uphill to the Clachan, a ruined farming settlement abandoned in the 1800s, where you can step inside one of the simple cottages. Continue through the woods, listening out for goldcrests, siskins and Scottish crossbills in the canopy overhead, to reach two breath-taking viewpoints over the Tummel Valley.

Ring Fort Trail
Stretch your legs a little more and travel further back in time at an ancient Pictish ring fort.
The ruined ring fort served as a homestead and lookout point for the Pictish people who lived here over a thousand years ago. Absorb the atmosphere and savour the stunning view before continuing through peaceful larch and pine woods.
